In Need of Advice

Looking for some advice. I'm 20 and have completed 2 years of a BA in Accounting and Finance, getting a 2.1 in my second year. I'm finding third year very difficult and have a meeting with my career guidance tomorrow to look at my options. With just two years of a degree what are my job options at the moment? I feel I need more experience and knowledge in accounting to be able to complete the third year. Can anyone advise me, please.

Don't drop out. Your last 2 years will become pretty worthless without the degree to show for it. You won't get any sort of accounting/finance position without it either.

It's very early in the year and you managed a 2.1 last year,so you should be more than capable. Just get the head down and start putting in the work on the areas you're struggling with now.

Definitely don't give up now! I think most people find third year a bit of a shock to the system, as it's a lot more difficult than second year. Odds are, you're not the only one feeling this way.

If you give up now, the two years you've done are worthless. Even if you don't get the grade you want at the end of your degree, the fact that you stuck with it and completed it will look a lot better to potential employers than if you quit now.

Just wanted to update this thread, I ended up sticking at it, and although it was a tough and long year, I passed everything and ended just about scraping a 2.1. Absolutely delighted with it, thanks again for advice!
