Question on the camera connection kit and iOS7

I sometimes transfer photos from a decent camera (SD card) to an iPad2 using this kit which is 2 years old. I note today however that's it's not working since the upgrade. I was hoping to use it with an iPhone 4S when next I go abroad.

    Is it now obsolete?

    Thanks.

Is that a genuine camera connection kit? I seem to remember mine was SD only, and a separate one that was USB only.

Also I don't think it works with iPhones.

Not sure if it's genuine. I recall paying about 20 quid for it on amazon and it worked for iPad. If one doesn't use laptops much, it's a pain trying to import photos from another device. This kit used to solve that.

Yeah, I know the feeling. Try getting a genuine Apple one and it should still work.
