Given that a lot of the US NFL games are sold out WELL in advance and you need to join a 'list' for tickets, what are the other ways of getting your mits on regular season game tickets? I know the net is awash with tout sites but as close to face value as possible.

    Please and thank you

I got 49ers tickets for the seahawks game the day the individual tickets went on sale. They sell them on ticketmaster.com.

Sites like NFL Ticket exchange and stubhub are good too, depending on the game you are looking at going to they are not too expensive.

I bought tickets for the Texans @ 9'ers on ticket exchange (emailed within a couple of hours) and the Titans @ Seahawks on Stubhub again delivered within 24 hours

NFL ticket exchange worked perfectly for me, would definitely recommend it.

My mate is just back from his honeymoon, and he got his from JJ Watt! When JJ was over in Ireland, my mate's brother hooked him up with Irish rugby tickets, so just got him to return the favour.

So badger some players on Twitter for some comps!:D

As others said ticketmaster.com for teams who dont sell out or when single game tickets go on sale. Ticket exchange and stubhub for tickets of games that ares old out on ticketmaster.

If you are a Pats fan though you can't use the Ticket exchange without being on the Season ticket waiting list. So Stubhub if you don't want to pay the $100 to go on waiting list.
