Issue regarding roster

    Hi all,

    William's manager places his roster on an A4 sheet every week in a display frame in the main office. Every week upon seeing the roster another employee will take a copy of the roster and count up everyone's hours to make sure he is getting the 'good' shifts and the same hours as everybody else. William is concerned as this other employee is bringing up William's hours to his manager complaining that William gets extra hours etc.

    How can William put a stop to this? Can William prevent other staff members for seeing his rostered hours? Also can the other employee take a copy of the roster with William's full name and show it to his legal advisors and union etc. Does William have any data protection rights as regards to this situation?

    william is clearly a better worker that the rest of the workforce or he must be on a lower scale of pay and is cheaper than the rest of staff to have on...nothng he can do in regards to rights as hell see everyone elses name and hours
