Amazon.com delivery

    Hi,
I have a ~€21 packet (can fit through a letter box) coming in from Amazon.com and the tracking states that i-parcel is delivering. Anyone knows which delivery service handles it locally?

The reason I'm asking is that according to the tracking data it entered the country since last Wednesday but status hasn't altered from "Pending customs clearance and inbound scan".

I don't know if it's the same with Amazon.com, but when I get parcels from .co.uk and .de with i-parcel, they always arrive with Fastway, in Cork at least.

When the parcel gets to Ireland, the tracking seems to stop at that point for me at least, until about 2 hours after it's delivered (usually 3 days after reaching Ireland).

Also the i-parcel tracking code doesn't work on Fastways tracking site, and if you call them about it they haven't the slightest clue what you're talking about. Calling or e-mailing i-parcel won't be much use either, (I was given different driver numbers by them to sort a missing parcel myself).

If your package is in Customs, it'll probably be a few days before it's released and delivered to you though.

Use this link https://tracking.i-parcel.com/secure/track.aspx to Track i-parcel tracking numbers. Not great but better than amazons own system.

That's where I got the status in my original post.;)

So... it's been stuck in that state since the 25'th (in the country) of last month. Should I raise the issue with Amazon if there's no update by the end of the week? I tried contacting i-parcel and they just got back to me with the same package status and to wait and that Fastway will take over it locally.

If Amazons order status indicates a delivery date that is now past send them and email indicating that there is a problem and they will probably send it again or issue a refund.
