Hi,

Was just wondering if anybody has gone through the same thing as me...

I was on JSB for 9 months and it ended 2 weeks ago. For the past couple of months I've been getting forms to fill out so it would I would get JSA immediately after JSB ended. But of course that wasn't the case...

I've been without money for two weeks now. I went down to the welfare offices and all they could tell me that my payment was in "registration" and that they're still looking into it. Has anybody else gone through the same thing and what have you done for money in the meantime? I heard there is some community welfare offices I can go to... ?

You need to go to your local CWO who should be in your local health center (HSE one) and apply for http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/social_welfare_payments/supplementary_welfare_schemes/supplementary_welfare_allow.html

Hello there,
Posting a question for a friend who isn't exactly computer savvy. He was waiting for JSA for the last 10 weeks in Westmeath and got a cheque today from the Community Welfare Officer. He's honestly had no money for that length of time save for room and board. He forgot to ask what day to collect his money on.
I assume Thursday, but I'm really not sure. Does anyone have any idea?
