I posted this originally in After hours, and was advised to move it here.

I'm looking for a vintage post drill press, similar to the buffalo forge co. 611 model. Am I likely to find these sorts of tools for sale at vintage shows ? How do i find out when/where vintage shows are on in ireland ? I know of the riverstown one (and now of the moynalty one, thanks to the previous attempt at this thread), but don't think I know of any others?

look in the irish vintage mags. they usually give rally dates, etc. so called autojumbles rather than vintage shows ,is what you want. a picture of what you want would be helpful. is what you want,a mechanical drill with a large wheel for driving and a small wheel for moving the chuck up and down

OP you missed out badly, there was about 4 of them at an auction in Roscrea in August. Maybe give Purcells auctioneers in Birr a call, some might come in again
