I'm looking for a piece of crap rear wheel for use on a turbo.
Shimano splined, preferably with a 10 speed cassette on it. I don't need a tyre.

The tricky bit is, I don't drive, so perferably in the ranelagh, rathmines area or near the Luas green line so that I can walk home with it :)

I have a wheel at home that the hub has seem better days and the freewheel,Shimano, is the same.Only thing is that the rom is brand new so would prob be looking at min of €40 for it with no cassette

Thanks bcmf but I'll see if anybody else has one. For a trainer I think it's a reasonable hub and freewheel that I'd need more than a good rim.

    yeah no worries.
The hub is still fine. Just the bearings on both the hub and freewheel will need replacing pretty soon.
Am sure someone will be along soon..

I'm selling a set of wheels and tyres. Instead of the tyres I could throw in an Ultegra cassette that I have lying around.

Velo.2010 I'm hoping to spend a max of 35 euro and I only need a rear wheel. Unless you're happy to split your wheelset and it's a really bad wheel - which I doubt as you've got ultegra...

Sorry to hijack OP, but what condition is the hub in? What wheel is it?

I have a rear wheel, Mavic equipe. Hub and freewheel are in good nick and it is true. The rim is very worn but wouldn't be a problem on a trainer obviously. You can have it for 35 Euro's.
    Not including a cassette.

Obviously, OP has first refusal, but I will take my place in the queue behind him for this one.
