I know there's a thread on selling your car already but looking for a bit of specific advice.

I'm looking to get rid of my car, an 03 Renault. I've no more need for it and the NCT was due so I took it off the road. (Legally under the new system.)

I'm not sure if anyone will buy it. It's a Renault, 2003, with over 100k miles on the clock. It runs fine but it needs a new clutch and suspension. It's not worth the cost of getting it done.

Is there any point in selling it or should I just sell it for scrap or something? What's the best way of selling a car for scrap? Are those Cash For Cars places any use?

    Thanks!

Somebody will buy it man, if not to put it back on the road then for parts for their own one.
