Im about to license my first image for use in a publication, however I want to try to prevent it being used outside the remit of our agreement. Are there any standard image usage documents that I can use as a base for a contract?

Have you tried docstock or other such site. Take a look here - they're stock stuff, but you may come across something as a base to work from.
