Hi I know the usual dating sites, but I'm not looking for a date. There is though activities like weekends away, running or even coffee where I'd really like simply company. Is there anywhere where I can find this?
    Thanks
    K

What? take a look at anything this google search and they all are dating sites, those which are active in Ireland anyway, even if they mention activity in their title. I don't appreciate such a snooty response.

A snotty response is right, and completely unnecessary. OP- I have heard meetup.com is pretty good for what u are looking for- I have no experience personally but a friend of mine is on that site and is forever going to different events across the country and meeting up for drinks etc

sorry it seemed an easy google to me. my apologies. if you want activities like hill walking try an oige. i know it is youth but i know of adults who stay in their hostels. also there are mountain climbing groups. try your local library for groups for possible coffee breaks
