changing jobs

Does anyone know what's involved if you change jobs while claiming job seekers allowance. If a person is claiming for the days they don't work and they change jobs where they're temporarily possibily working less but it will be better in the long run.

For example if a person has a small contract their job,say a 10 hr contract but they're temporarily on a 24hr contract to cover someone else's absence for a few weeks what would happen if they got a job with a permanent 20hr contract. Would their jobseekers allowance still be ok? since the contract with more hours is only temporary and the 20hr contract is better in the long run, rather than going back to the smaller 10hr contract once the few weeks have passed.

As said above, can you work both jobs? And are you filling out the "X's and O's" form? If you are then you just keep filling it out but fill it honestly.

No, that wouldn't be possible. Neither would have set days where you work your contract hours and want a person to be available to work any day/time
