OK First of all hello all and I am sorry for asking this again I just am not quite clear on how this would work.

OK so for example say I wish to teach Biology for Post-Primary. How do I go about this?

You would do a Science degree recognised by the Teaching Council and then a PGDE (used to be called a H. Dip.). The PGDE years can be expensive.

Please check out the employment possibilities before doing anything.

You could also do a concurrent degree such as Science Education in Maynooth, 4 years and no dip.
