Hi, my brother is setting up an agricultural contracting business and needs some capital for starting up to purchase machinery etc. I'm considering investing in the business and was wondering if something like this would qualify for The Seed Capital Scheme or the Employment and Investment Incentive. I am a PAYE worker and would have paid at the higher rate for a number of years. I'm aware a lot of the answers will be to seek financial advice before proceeding (which I will) but I just want to see if anyone here has done anything similar and how they got on? All comments appreciated!
