Also... Complaints to tunein take about a week to be responded to.

It works fine for me 99% of the time; if it's not working for you I'd suggest it's something wrong at your end, like your data provision.

Are you using iphone or android, over wifi or data OP? I'm on Android and can't complain.

I've posted a couple of threads before on TuneIn app being useless sometimes.

This is with latest version downloaded, full wireless signal and 5 full bars of coverage.

Lately it's improved, but I've noticed some stations are fine, but others are not.

Sky Sports News for instance, for the last week it's almost inaudible, sounds like it's being played in a dulled-down echo-ey room, and the sound only comes from one earphone too

(All other stations I listen to are mostly fine - sometimes Today FM buffers a lot, but sound comes from both earphones on every other station).

if your using mobile some devices, service providers or apps limit the streaming or dont allow it at all unless your on wifi

Go to the page for the developer and explain in many words how it's not working for you. The better you are at describing the issue, the easier it is for the developer to fix it.

I'm assuming now you are complaining about the paid app, not the free one?

More likely to be the originator of the stream, i.e. the radio station's servers disconnected rather than TuneIn's fault.

Try other streams - are they working?

That's happened me a few times. Closing it and opening it again usually fixes it.

Check to see if the stream is being blocked by a firewall or web filter.

I had a Blackberry and could never get Spin SW for a while, though it worked a few months later. On a different phone now and don't have any problems.

It is a free app, so I wouldn't expect much of a quick reply to be honest.

This frequently happens with Spin South West on the internet radio, it's a man reading that message

I listen to Today FM, streams from both their own app and Tunein keep dropping, buffering. I don't think it's coverage, as RTE seems to be fine, it might be down to the stream originator.

Thanks for the replies, so it's not just me getting it.

It's usually with Today FM and Newstalk, sometimes with Sky Sports News Radio, but it's never happened with any BBC station that I listen to.

The only time I saw that was when Communicorps streams were down so no Today FM or Newstalk, otherwise it's rock solid. I've never heard it on any other station bar those ones.

The question that needs asking......why would you want to get Spin SW? It's radio produced with all the skill of TY students......for people with the musical tastes of TY students.

Tune In don't stream anything. They are an aggregator. If the stream is down or inaudible complain to the broadcaster.
