Due to the location where I live I cannot access 28 degree satellites. Wondering if there is an alternative way to receive the signal for Freesat or Freeview. My internet connection is not good enough so this is not an option.

Really looking for the english channels in good quaility preferably HD if I can get them.

Live in Castleconnel Co.Limerick if that makes any difference.

strange you cant get 28.2, is there a lot of trees around your house or something?

There was a guy here a few months ago who was going to ask the farmer to cut the trees down for him - are you the same guy?

    No not the same guy.

Yes I live in an estate right beside a long line of very large trees. Cutting them down is not an option.

I'm wondering is there a free or subscription service that operates off a different satellite that carries most of the same channels but mainly the english ones and prefferably in HD.

Nope. UPC or bust and you have to pay for that of course.

how close are the trees to the house and how tall? can you put a pic up?I know its not ideal but if the dish was on the chimney surely that would give enough clearance to pick up 28.2?
