Genesis equilibrium reynolds 725 steel frame size 54cm equipped with shimano 105
    Tectro r555 brakes
    Carbon forks
    Deda bars and seatpost
Ultegra hubs with mavic open pro rims
    Brand new prologo bartape

This bike is in great condition and has just been serviced. I'm selling it because I want a bike with a triple and I cannot seem to get a comfortable fit on this bike. I have changed the front ring to a compact but I still have the 53/39 chainring that it is in good nick, it can be part of any deal. I'm interested in possibly swapping for a decent road bike with a triple.

Im not very fussy, I would just like to get set up on a decent bike that is comfortable. Pictures of the bike are available on adverts.ie

Nice bike, very surprised you cant get a comfortable position unless its the wrong size. These bikes have a long head tube which makes them more suited to comfortable riding. Its also steel which is the most forgiving of bumps and vibrations.

Sell your two cranksets and this would easily pay for a triple and even a long arm derailleur if needed.

There is no way you would be able to source a 725 Reynolds Steel bike with 105 and Ultegra Hubs and Mavic open Pro's for the money you are looking for.

The bike is really really smooth, thats what attracted me to steel. Im overweight and the bike may be a size too small for me. My brother has 56cm felt and it fits much better, longer spins are much easier for me on his bike. I have already spent a few quid changing the crankset and the adjustable stem, Im just not happy with it, Im not going to invest more time and money into the bike.

I don't understand your last paragraph, are you saying that I am overpricing or under pricing the bike ? Im not very familiar with the market for these bikes, Im just trying to get back what I paid for it or a good deal on a swap.
    Thanks for your advice.

I was just pointing out that the replacement cost on this bike will be significant. The wheels alone will cost 260 STG. Can't see someone with a 56cm bike of comparable spec & even relaxed geometry looking for a 54cm.

Another option ( if the components are in good cond )would be to source a 56cm Genesis (or whatever) frame and switch it all over. Re a triple the compact should be enough. You could change the cassette to a 12-32 to give the same range as a triple.

There should be a good demand for the Genesis frame secondhand.
