    Hi all,

Rather annoyingly Ryanair have seen fit to cancel the flight I had booked from Dublin to Stockholm (Skavsta) in December "following an operational review".

I've googled what my rights might be in such instances but can only really find info on flights delayed or cancelled on the origianally proposed date of departure. Can anyone confirm if Ryanair will have to foot the bill to reroute me? The only one that suits me is flying Knock - Stansted - Stockholm (Skavsta).

Any thoughts? In true Ryaniar fashion the helpline to call is premium rate...

    Thanks,

    AB.

No, you'll just get a refund.

You can now email them on customerqueries@ryanair.com

But you'll just get a refund, they only sell flights not holidays.

    Hi,
I wrote to Ryanair asking them what is going on with these flights and I got this reply today:

    Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contacting Ryanair.

With regard to your recent correspondence, please be advised that these flights appear to cease for the winter period. They will restart from April.

    Yours sincerely,

    The Customer Service Team

As I live an hours drive from Skavsta it will now be a lot harder and more expensive for me to go home and for relations to come and visit in Dublin as we have to go by Aer Lingus to Arlanda. It sucks big time!Hope the flights will start back up in April as they say but would not get my hopes up until I see it is true.

    Hi,

If you book well in advance, trains from Arlanda westbound are fairly reasonable.

It is a bit awkward, I am in the same position as you. The only thing is that SAS is nicer than Ryanair. Have you tried Aer Lingus?

There is also A route with KLM that goes Dublin, Amsterdam and then to Linkoping, not sure if that is any good to you. Checked 17th Dec to 26th of dec just now 2470 SEK like 300 Euro. Booked this before around 250 Euro for travel Swe-Ireland return for this Christmas actually.

    Best of luck

Edit: Sorry the 2470 is for the wrong way around for you, just realised.

If the connection isn't a problem, you could go Dublin - Charleroi - Skavska.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Aer Lingus have never been cheaper ARN-Dublin. Just book in advance. Also quite cheap to travel with Norwegian but you need to stop in Oslo or CPH and it takes the guts of a day.
