Philips Smart TV - PS3 media server on PC

    I have set up PS3 Media Server ver 1.90.1 on my laptop; it says it has detected renderers - Philips Smart TV, "Unknown renderer" and something called WMP. I'm trying to stream a film from my laptop wirelessly to the TV. The TV can see the PC and from the TV browswr I can select the film I want to view. The log of the media server saying it is sending the avi file to the TV but I really only get the opening title of the film on the TV - and even that takes a few mins. So, everything appears to be working from the wireless and IP setup but is there any reason why it is so slow? Thanks
