    Hi all,
I appealed my jsa decision and after months of waiting have just received a letter stating that it has now been allowed. My question is how long approximately will it be before I receive my first payment? Thanks in advance

Thanks for that. Dare I ask how long for the backdated monies owed?

I was getting reduced payment, based on their calculated means which were way off, I appealed the decision and after 6+ months waiting I've received a note that they were wrong. After that it was 2-3 weeks after which I received all of the difference they owed me.

Did you get any letter from them before payment?

Maybe go to the CWO for a supplementary payment

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
