    Very sad news that Patsy Byrne has passed away.The coursing world and especially Pa Fitzgearld will be in deep mourning today.

    Never post here as I'm not a big greyhounds man but I am a big NH follower and a fellow North Kerry man. Patsy Byrne or Patsy Brynes as he was more commonly and incorrectly known by most of us was the greyhound worlds version of JP McManus. He achieved so much and gave so much back, he really was a gent.

    Thoughts and sympathies are with his family and all the lads.

    Yes sad news Heard Liam Dowling on at the races todat aswell

    Patsy owned greyhounds in the usa and the uk aswell
