    How's it going lads, I opened a bet fred account the other day. Won a small few bob went to withdraw it and now they want me to upload a copy of my passport as proof of age. Sounds a bit dodgy to me so I'd said I would ask on here. What is pissing me off is the fact that they had no problem taking my money in the first place without proof of age.

    Every single bookie will do that lee nothing strange going on. It is annoying that they'll take your bets first alright but they all do

    Right so thanks. Its not as if I have taken them to the cleaners either. May go scan the passport so, thanks again.

    Yeah most will do that alright, If they asked straight away then I'd have no problem with it but its a disgrace that you can lose your bollox and it's only when you win something and want to withdrew it that they ask you. :rolleyes:

    Exactly, its a joke alright. No problems taking my money in the first place!!

    It's all to do with licenscing v competition, if they did it the second you deposited nobody would sign up and they do need to be able to prove that they know their customers.
