Hey folks. I need to buy a mic for a small pa i've got. I was thinking of spending around 100 euro give or take. Is that enough to get a good quality one? Any advice on the best options much appreciated.

This fella would be one of the industry standards for vocals/guitars etc..

    I would also recommend the
    Shure SM58
An excellent mic for its price

SM58's are also nigh on indestructible.

Watch out for counterfeits, the bloke in the link below gives a detailed explanation of what to look out for.

There's alternatives, like the Shure Beta58a (up dated version of the 58, bit more expensive) the Sennheiser e840 or the AKG D5 but the singers voice is the largest factor in what sounds better (subjective).

For general usage and rugged reliability your best bet is a SM58.
