    Hi all,
I recently got my old sky+ box installed in my bedroom and it just has the free to air channels.

What I'd like to know is, can I purchase some kinda card t get at will give me access to additional channels without a monthly subscription?

All the soaps are FTA anyway.

Is the box you are using upstairs a HD box or one of the older white boxes?

If it's a HD box then the EPG is stuck on the Irish one & you need to go to 'other channels' to view Channel 5,ITV among others.Simplest way round this is to get a UK card which will switch the box to the UK EPG.
