Interference on RTE1 on SKY only.

    Over the past week or so I've noticed fairly severe picture and sound problems on RTE1 from my Sky box.
    It is not there when tuned to Saorview.
    Another strange thing is it appears to be confined to studio-derived content only e.g. News, Weather, the Late Late Show etc.
    If it were a cable problem surely more than one channel would be affected!
    Any ideas please?

    Thanks for reply. I had aspect ratio set to 16:9 rather than Auto so wasn't seeing the aspect change until I saw your reply. I have since replayed the recording with aspect set to auto and I do see the problem so yes it is the same.

    I reported this to RTE and they advise the problem is a Sky issue not RTE.
