Hi, I want to fit a water methanol injector to my Alfa. I have the injector, just need to purchase the tank.
I'm looking for a techie that has fitted these before, plus I need to purchase some methanol.

    Any ideas?

    Regards

    Jack

Ok posts like this generally set off alarm bells.

    1. AEM do a nice kit that does both water/meth
    2. Methenol injection is generally used as a band-aid for someone over-boosting or on the limits of compression/boost/cooling

Generally if your at something like this get your car to a reputable dyno operator.

See the stickeys at the top of this forum....

Hi, thanks for the post, understand the concern. I already ahve the kit which is from a Dutch vendor which specialises in these. I want it as it was recommended to stop/reduce the black smoke from the back of the car.

    Regards & thanks

I know little or nothing about Diesels.

But if its making excessive smoke I would try and diagnose the issue rather than injecting water/meth.

I can move this to motors if you want further recommendations....
