Insurance Loading For Dublin 8

I had been living at another Dublin address for the past few years, having moved to an address in Dublin 8 Liberty Insurance want an additional €400!! I have made absolutely no changes to the policy other than the change of address.

I see they have a new automated address input thing on their website, that won't let you proceed until they have matched the address you enter to one in their database, so maybe this allows them to calculate risk more accurately on the basis of location, but almost doubling the price of the policy for a move to another part of Dublin seems absolute madness! Thoughts?

    Get some other quotes?
Give Liberty a call and see what they say over the phone?

Have got some much better quotes, and will call them first thing tomorrow. It's more the principle of the thing I'm shocked at here - surely there's no one Dublin postcode area at so much higher risk that it justifies a doubling of the original quote?

Obviously there is, some postcodes may have higher claim rates.

Have you tried entering the same address but at a different postcode?
So changing dublin 8 for the next near one.
