PS3... no recovery mode? Please help

    Hi there,

    My ps3 us gone again, getting the "blank screen problem etc.

    I have the old 40g ps3 and followed the tutorials etc but can't get it into recovery mode at all. Nothing.

    Any ideas?

    Sorry meant to say "black" screen problem. I have tried holding power button twice.
