I'm looking to import a pup from Germany and would be grateful for any advice on how this could be done?

    Thanks

Work out the costs from the breeder for them on transporting it here... It could be cheaper to go get it yourself depending on where abouts it is in Germany!

The breeder should know everything you will need to know about transporting it here. I hear Lufthansa(sp) are the cheapest at transporting to Ireland from Europe.

What breed of dog are you thinking of getting?

As far as I know there is no requirement anymore.

Once the dog is being imported here it is part of his/her pet passport to be up to date on all vaccinations so no quarantine period is needed!!

Make sure to use a well know breeder, there are a lot of scammers out there that will take your money but doesn't have any animals to sell. Research is key.
