not terribly experienced on this but I can tell you from paying attention to other lads on here who breed Blues she should be getting very very little for the next 6 weeks, even more so in this case as most wont use blues on heifers but use Lim, PT or blonde on first time out and no matter what they heavily "restrict" their diet for last 6 weeks... using a blue on heifers seems to be rare enough so need to be very careful...plenty of threads on "restricted diet" if you search it.

be sure to let us know how it goes in 6 wks anyhow...an best of luck.

    http://herdplus.icbf.com/bull-search/view/animalId/719996001

    11.6% difficulty.

Not the worse but be careful, I don't know about others, but I have found BBs seem to have a higher chance of coming backwards.

I'd never chance that on a heifer but I normally put autumn calving cows into very bare pasture even if it means feeding a bit of hay. That means they have to do a lot of walking to eat enough. IMO exercise is as important as restricted feed.

not having a go at the op but when an ai man says a bull is easy calving he is not going to be the one doing the calving... a couple of minutes on icbf will give you a few bulls to suit your animals

And what's rated easy calving this year , might not be the same next year.
Have been caught out with Fr heifers that way.
