    Hi folks,

I have two war of Independence medals, one with Comrac bar and one without. Any idea where I could sell them?

Any of the auction houses that specialise in militaria and/or Irish interest items, ebay, adverts.ie, etc. Plenty of choices there.

Do you know of any auction houses that specialise in this stuff? I have a number of items which belonged to my late grandfather that I want to sell on.

Have you asked if any other members of your family would like them? Once there sold that piece of your family history is gone forever.

Sorry, but there is nobody else in the family.

I don't unfortunately, I remember Matthew's Auctioneers had some before and maybe White's or Whyte's? I am sure some other posters here can recommend some appropriate auction houses though. The main thing is not to sell yourself short, they are part of your family's history, so have them professionally valued before selling them or accepting any private offers.

Thanks. I'll do a bit of research into this so.
