    hey
I am currently in leaving cert, and have my heart set on becoming a professional psychologist. (preferably forensic psychology)

i wish to obtain a insight in regard to Dublin Business Schools psychology course
why are the points so low(200points), compared to DCU(500) ?? i mean whats the catch here ?
and also the quality of the course itself and the college

DBS is a private college so you would have to pay fees. That is the main difference between it and DCU. In my time they were about €5,000 per year

As far as the course goes, it is very good, not that I am biased!! :p (I studied there from 2003-2006). At that time the only main down side was the resources, the library wasn't exactly huge and its opening hours weren't fantastic, but with a lot more being available on line these days its easier, and I think it has been extended since that time.

I liked the course here because I think it gives a varied approach for further study. Because there is a psychoanalysis/ philosophy stream that you can take alongside Psychology you have more options for masters courses. You can go on straight on to study the masters in psychoanalytic psychotherapy if you choose.

Classes in my time were small enough so there was more opportunity for questions/ approaching the lecturers.
