Hi, Im flying with emirates mid October to Perth Australia (Return) and when booking my ticket through the emirates website the charges were were broken down as follows:
    Flight €594 Carrier-imposed charges €390 Taxes and fees €79.29.

Under the terms and conditions the website says that there maybe more taxes to pay upon check and having never used the emirates website to book a long haul flight i was wondering if they are just covering there arses or will i have to pony up some more money when i check in.

Not when flying to Perth or Australia for that matter but in some countries e.g. the Philippines you have to pay a Terminal airport levy upon departure so the terms and conditions are more a general thing covering world wide destinations.
