Anyone been to the new place down the marina in Cork City? I don't think I'd be any good at running around trying not to get shot but I'd really like to try out the targets! :)

I have been there the past 4 Friday night CQB (Close Quarter Battle) events alright and I highly recommend it. Great craic and pretty bloody hectic stuff lol.

Its a fine arena with loads of buildings and barriers to hide behind and there is going to be some smoke effects installed soon and a sound system so you will be playing while music is going in the background. Its still cool even as it is but that will be savage.

Its €25 a game (3 hours of play with short breaks in between) and €15 for a gun rental but bbs are extra. A bag of 5000 is €12.50 which is more than enough for 2 nights of trigger happy action. Even 3 TBH.

Semi auto only for the most part but the last game is usually full auto and you will get a face mask provided with the gun. One mag per gun rental as well.
Just make sure to come prepared so wear a hoodie and preferably a baseball cap cos head shots hurt, trust me.

If you want to do a woodland skirmish, then Rebel Airsoft is your choice down here. They have a session from half 10 till around 4pm every second Sunday out in the Bandon site. Games are usually 1 hour with a small break in between unless theres a milsim on (millitary simulation) which can be around 4 hours straight and can have different respawn rules and ammo limits etc. Not often though if thats not your thing. Full auto all day at those games BTW.

Both sites have a facebook page that you can look up and get the event details from. "Munster Airsoft" and "Rebel Airsoft".

    Hope this helps :).
