    I have had a real knacker of a car offered to me this evening for circa 200€. It's got 161k miles and no NCT. Tyres are good but it requires a caliper. Last tbelt was at 131k miles, tyres are good and of a known brand and it comes with a 6 cd changer and sunroof.

    Sadly two electric windows don't function right, a caliper and a body as rough as a badgers arse are part of the deal.

    Btw its a dark green 99 Lantra. My issue is although its scrap I'm strangely compelled to take it as a winter hack. The engine, clutch, gearbox and suspension are all working very well.
