How did you find it when the day came?

For me, I didnt want to go because of the fact I didnt have a guyfriend and I was a loner at a all girls secondary school so I didnt know most of them fully. When the day came I felt sick of the thought that I should've gone as I felt I was missing out. Then I found out on of the girls asked out my ex as a date so I kinda was lucky that I didnt go. So yeah, that's my story, what's yours? xD
