Why do they have to mention it in every link ? and the fact that they are live ? Do they think people think live broadcasting outside the pale is impossible ? Johnathan Healy here live from Opera lane in cork, Howaya Hecter here live from Galway in the whest of Ireland, Will Leahy here live from limerick.

Part of it is to try and counteract the "Dublin-based media" allegations, I'd imagine. Lyric don't often mention that the entire station is based in Limerick (bar giving contact addresses) nor do the Dublin-based presenters on it often mention where they are, though.

Really? Does anyone really think there is some bias or conspiracy invovled.... Most of the time they are outside the usual studio and somewhere else is sponsorship and they have to mention the place the rest is just to engage with the audience who might happen to be there... It happens in Dublin too when stations are out on location, if 98FM or FM104 are at Stepehns Green or Dundrum they mention that...
