    Hi All

Brand new to Boards.ie and the Shooting forum and i am looking to resume
    shooting after 20+ years away.
Looking for anyone who might know of RFD who would have good quality L/H Target rifle for sale.
I am mainly interested in paper targets benchrest or 3P disciplines.
Any help or directions much appreciated.

Lefty rifles like that are a little thin on the ground.

I presume you're looking for second hand? If so, you're likely to find some form of Anschütz 1813 or 1913 or 2013. You're more likely to find the 1813 or an even older model. Try ringing around Geoff Cooney in Wilkinstown, Pat Cooke at Hilltop and John Kavanagh at Fingal Sports. They'll give you a feel for what's available.

If you have the budget for a new rifle then there are a bunch of options but I don't know of any dealers in Ireland who'd keep a brand new one in stock. Any reputable dealer will import you one from the manufacturer though.

    Thanks IRLconnor

I will give them all a try.

I knew it was going to be difficult to find left hand but unfortunately the first time i ever picked up and used a gun it felt far more comfortable left hand and i was told that i was left eye dominant also.

Keep up the good work on here as you are a mine of information.

Don't know of anyone here with a LH Benchrest rig. If you give the lads over on the UKBR forum a shout, they are very helpful and may know of one over there

Thanks Homerhop, Will have a look at these sites. Sorry Cavan DuckBuster still have had no joy. The 3 dealers that ConnorIrl recommended were all gentlemen and very helpful but no joy.

Try giving Sam Kelly in Intershoot a shout. He's north of the border (Dungannon) but an import isn't that hard to sort out. He only lists new rifles on the website but he probably has some second hand stuff in stock and/or will have useful suggestions on where to find what you're looking for.

If nothing else, bigger pool of target shooters up there who might have gear available and such, and Sam would have more awareness of that than us.
