My 11 week old Doberman dog Ricco is having aggression issues towards strangers. I don't know if this is the watch dog instincts kicking in early or is it something more serious?

Would love to hear some recommendations about good places/people for puppy training in Cork?

If he's showing aggression towards people then you might need some one on one sessions with a good behaviourist before you can attend classes. I'd recommend getting in touch with Creedons Doggie Daycare. They do a range of different class types and Nanci Creedon is also a qualified behaviourist. I've done classes there with both my dogs and always found them excellent.

Thanks, I will have a look at the site. Also, he only does it when people come into the house, outside he is fine.

Irish Search Dogs run socialisation/ obedience classes every Tuesday night at 8pm in the Hop Island equestrian centre. No need to book, just turn up. First class is free, €10 pay as you go thereafter, all funds go to supporting the charity who train dogs for missing persons search

Ps. At 11weeks keep in mind he's only a pup

He barks and growls at people that he has never met before when they come into the house. Could it be he is just hyper?
