I've tried chrome, Firefox, stock and adrenaline so far and all of them crash a fair bit. ff is also quite slow despite being the prettiest. any other suggestions? the last time I tried opera it wouldn't let me empty the search bar which was annoying. a few I've tried, ff included, don't let you go back and edit a post mid way through do I'd like to avoid that annoyance.

What are you doing when the "crash a fair bit"?

I use Chrome, IE10 and Firefox - depending on the sites I am visiting etc, but mostly chrome to be honest.
I've had issues having many tabs open at the same time on chrome (20+) and the main time I have seen any browser "crash" is actually an issue with whatever flash player is integrated into it, as opposed to the browser.

Have you issues with any other apps crashing? Could be a RAM or lack of system resources issue.........

No issues here either using browsers. May get the rate crash.

Could also be phone / ROM relayed. What are you using?

It crashes on boards a lot of the time, just scrolling through a thread or loading a page with one, maybe two tabs open. I'm using Advanced Task Manager to keep RAM usage down as much as possible but maybe it's actually making the phone less stable. It's a Huawei Ascend G300 and I haven't had anything else crash. Do mobile apps have such a thing as logs or crash reports?

    I use Dolphin too.

No problems and with the Jetpack it's pretty damn fast.

I use Dolphin too - and while it's fairly stable it has an annoying habit of reloading all the tabs when you re-open it. I'd much prefer if it cached the open tabs unless they were manually refreshed. Anyone know a browser that does that?

    Fairly sure chrome does that.

Dolphin just doesn't work properly for me at all. I often have to hit links ten times before they open and again it won't let me go back and edit a post without the cursor jumping back to the end of the line all the time.

Boat browser or if you're short on ram take a look at Naked browser.
Saw it over on XDA before.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fevdev.nakedbrowser

Never had chrome crash either but most I'd have open would be 4 tabs.

Boat is very slow for me and it's a Iain scrolling to get the address bar back. Can't reedit posts either. Maybe that's a Google keyboard or boards issue?

Huawei Ascend G300. Post editing works fine in Stock browser. I've forgotten why I stopped using it now... I'm sure it'll come back to me :D

Just noticed that when you have more than 100 tabs open on mobile Google chrome, the number changes to a smiley face

install cat log perhaps, will say why it crashes if you leave cat log running. But I'm not sure what you can do to fix it tbh
