Flying to Germany on Oct 10th, same day as a mass ATC strike is planned, German Unions have said they will support it. whats the story with flight refunds etc?? We're with Aer Lingus.

I suppose we will have to turn up at the airport for the flight anyway?

they might be aware of the strike and may save themselves hassle of not flying and having to feed a load of people who are stranded, by refunding your flight...

I'm kinda puzzled by your answer. You know you have a flight booked on a day when controllers will go on a strike and the flight will be cancelled, you're coming here asking if you are entitled to a refund and when given advice to ask them now and save the hassle of going to airport and having to re-book your flight you now hesitate.
