Coping with partner's depression

    Hi all,

I was just wondering how many people here are dealing with the depression of a partner?
I currently am myself, my partner has been in a very depressed state the past couple of weeks and it seems to be getting worse. They have point blank refused GP visit and meds as they have tried both before with little success.

My main question is this; what do YOU do to cope with this? What are the best mechanisms/skills/approaches you have developed to keep yourself healthy and well and what do you feel has been the best/most effective way to show love and support to your partner at a time when they appear to care little about both.
