Need to save some money so need to cut back on Sky. I had Sky World for 2 years then cancelled the Sport Pack last year. I need to reduce the monthly fee again but would like to keep Sky Arts. What would be the the minimum I need to pay to keep these two channels?

What did Sky tell you when you contacted them?

€27 per month, you get SKY Arts but not in HD.

It would be the Entertainment pack, see here for all the channels you can receive.

Cut back on it completely, and get Freesat in.

Fair enough, but would you watch enough on a single channel to justify 27 per month?

    We have sky world

I get in free sat as I realised we never watch telly.
Rang sky last week to cancel they offered 2.5 months free with no obligation.

No thanks, just start the 30 days notice.

They rang me there yesterday and offered 12 months at half price.

Very hard to say no to the complete package for 35pm

What if you change your mind? Do they just revoke your notice or do you have to sign up for a year?

Once you're out of your initial contact, your dish and box are paid off, and you don't need an installation visit, so it's a rolling 30 day contract from then on. Even if you cancel and sign back up

Thanks for the replies. Will give the Cancel approach to see how I get on.
