Didnt know where to ask a stupid question, so thought it best to put it here.

I bought new grips for my clubs and they arrived yesterday. Will McGuirkes/Halpenny fit them for me, or will they only fit grips which you buy from them? If not, do i have any options other than fitting them myself.

    :D

I set up a new thread for you.

Any pro worth their salt will fit them for you.

since you're changing them may be a good idea to make sure you have the correct size.
If you've bigger than average hands, it may be worth having an extra layer added on. See what the pro says.

Thanks. I didnt know that. I have pretty big hands alright. Do you mean an extra layer of tape under the grip? If not, then i may have made a mistake by buying the grips myself.

they can put a layer of tape underneath the grip.
I've big hands, and had an extra 2 layers fitted.
It made a HUGE difference to my grip, and if you've got your grip right, you're laughing. It's a basic thing but it's critical to getting good and consistent.

It might be an idea to do it yourself. It might look very hard but trust me once you do it the first time you'll never pay to have clubs done by someone else ever again. Plenty of tutorials online also and of course you get the satisfaction of admiring (or not!) your own work.
