No surprise as their own Meteor & eMobile cannibalises fixed line voice and via Mobile voice and texts overcharging subsidising mobile data cannibalises DSL.

We told them this would happen to their face and they agreed. Only a dramatic reduction to about 1/3rd line rental and minimum 6 month contract can save fixed line business.

Also a complaint to regulator about Mobile Voice cross subsidising Mobile Data. Fixed DSL in reality ought to be more profitable and cheaper retail price than Mobile for 100Gbyte cap on DSL vs 1Gbyte cap on mobile.
