GolfShot on iOS 7

Anyone else not able to save scores on Golfshot since the upgrade to iOS 7?

I can enter my scores but when I click "end round" - "save scorecard" it just glitches out of it?

Was there an iOS 7 update for golf shot? If so and you haven't updated that could be your problem.

iOS7 automatically updated for all apps that updates were available. I think this updated as part of that.

I think you needed to update all your apps before downloading ios7.

Having the exact same issue ssbob. Also when I open the app, it says "sync failed". There was an update for Golfshot on the 23rd which I got. Most apps have updates after an iOS update so that is not the issue.

I just used the tourcaddie app to update my score but thats cumbersome enough as you have to scroll through all the holes!

No problem here. Version number is 3.5.2

IOS 7 in general is pretty crap for me so far, I'd stay off updating for a while for anyone that can avoid it.

So contacted Golfshot.... they told me to log out and sign back in - didn't work. They then said to try delete the app and re-install it - did it and now the app isn't showing up on the app store! It only shows the full version for €26.99.

Same here. Golfshot Lite no longer there!

Tried re-installing through itunes and it still not allowing me to save a round. Maybe Golfshot don't want the free version to work anymore..........

Yeah confirmed by email...

"Golfshot Lite is no longer supported.

We released a new free app called TOUR Caddie. You can find it in the iTunes App Store - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pga-tour-caddie/id622851626?ls=1&mt=8

Be sure to Login with your existing Golfshot account so that all of your round data and scorecards migrate to the new app.

I had to wipe my phone there recently but was able to re-install golfshot again.

Ye should have got an android phone!!

Try enter a round and save it to see if it works? I presume they are stopping support across the board and not just for the iPhone.

I haven't downloaded the OS7 yet and Lite is still working for me.

Might just never download it! What's the Tourcaddie one like? Is is as good as the Lite?

Only tried using it once but it seems much the same as Golfshot. There is an option to mark on a course map where your shots go but I just skipped this for each hole.

I got a message from ubersense swing reader app telling me to hold off on updating my phone to ios7.
Makes sense it takes time to iron all these little bugs.

Was having trouble with Golfshot Lite since I updated to IOS7 ie. would not sync , however I just logged in there now & everything is working fine.

Strange considering the company said they are no longer supporting it. Try and enter a round and save it to see if it works? Doubting it will......

Yeh just entered a fictitious round and it works fine !
First time to hit all fairways & all greens in regulation...if only.

Strange the way it's working for some and not for others. Either way, for those who can't get it to work, the new Tour Caddie app is nearly identical and all your stats/details are transferred over.

Anyone tried swingbyswing for android? Im using it the last while to record my scores,it can give you a distance meter aswell
