X-Fi Not working with new Board?

I have a Recon3D, works fine on my S1155 board, built a new machine today with a 970 extreme 3 and the X-fi will not work no matter what I do, what pci-e lane I use. Doesn't even show up in device manager, but the red LED does come on. It works fine back in my other machine. Does anyone have any ideas?
