hi guys, I have been shopping around for a good quality hybrid bike for between e500-800 to get on the BTW scheme. I have been looking around and reading reviews for tips and tricks, but tbh im getting quite lost in all the technical stuff.

i came across an offer on the Roam 1 online, (e640 down from e800) but I cant find much useful info in terms of reliable reviews or comparisons (just the usual official blurb and bland reviews), and havent really come across cases of people recommending it.... i get the impression its a decent bike given the price, but very average in terms of bang for your buck.....
has anyone had this bike/ can they recommend it? or alternatively point me towards a better value bike in the price range?
