    Ok I'm probably gonna get some stick for this but here goes.
    I've always used just a a pad when waxing but since it takes bloody forever by hand I was thinking of getting a drill pad or something similar to use with my cordless drill.
    Apparently there's something called Mother's Powerball that can be attached to a drill (variable speed)
    Yes I know I can get a orbiter but I already have a drill...

    Would only use something like that for polishing wheels, exhausts, etc!!

    Definitely not on paint work.....holograms.com

    Also, you'd quickly find it become annoying and you'll throw it down and go back to doing it by hand in no time.

    Actually, is it possible to get a buffing pad/bonnet for the DAS-6? I've poked around on detailingshed and cleancar but not found anything that looks suitable?

    I know its a paint in the hole, but the best thing for buffing is a really plush microfiber cloth and doing it by hand.
    The cloth can make a massive difference, as a poor one will just get clogged with product after doing a single panel. With a good MF, its not too bad.

    Anything else, like using a machine, risks introducing more defects - last thing you want after doing correction and refining is to have to do more polishing!

    Make sure you have a good drill. I burnt out a cheapo one before with a similar attachment.

    Car needs a good pre-winter coat and I'm putting it off all the time, cause I'm lazy.

    Think Metz is right, you'd get a pain in your hole using the drill, and will end up putting it down and using a MF

    @biko

    maybe you could check out some of the spray sealants, quick and easy.

    I am waiting on Gtechniq c2v3 which I am very excited about :) but there are others out there too.

    Or, seeing as it is not quite winter yet. You can wax a couple of panels at a time. Often if i am washing weekly I might wax the bonnet, wings and roof after a wash one week, the doors, quarter panel and boot lid after wash on week 2, and then after week 3 wash I do the bumpers.

    Break your tasks down into manageable jobs :)
