OP your paid holiday leave is a right based on time/hours worked regardless of whether you are short term contracted or permanent.

i work 4-5 days a week which is 32-38 hours so should i be getting more holidays before end of year?

You are entitled to 4 weeks leave if you work 1365 hours per year

You are entitled to 4 weeks leave if you work 1365 hours per year or 8% of hours worked up to a max of 4 weeks leave

In short, yes. Most probably another two weeks. Possibly slightly less if you were less than full-time.
